Project

Hustling stateside for BRANDS & MAGS

About

Conceptual design is an exercise in pushing brand boundaries—where futurism thrives—in journalism, advertising and on-stage.

In the US, conceptual projects often move at high speed, driven by commercial demands, while in Europe, a research-led, long-term approach is more common. Navigating both worlds requires adaptability—executing rapid, high-impact projects like the 21C Parachute wedding dress for Californian magazine VULKAN, while drawing from the depth (Research) of European conceptualism.

Another case in point, prototyping digital and installation concepts (Met Opera) and the now-defunct Warner Bros/DC US-approved performance space in London was no simple feat, especially in a post-lockdown landscape of tight budgets and shifting expectations. Equally, designing a wearable concept for a Game of Thrones costume designer’s Emmy win in LA had its own unique challenges.

The result? BRAND engagement, disruption, and continuous evolution
